Information on Financial  Assistance for Skater Families:

A tragedy shook the figure skating world on Valentine's Day in 1961 when Flight 548, carrying the U.S. World Figure Skating Team to the World Championships in Prague, crashed near Brussels, Belgium. All aboard were lost. From this loss arose the U.S. Figure Skating Memorial Fund to benefit all future figure skaters. The mission of the Memorial Fund is to provide qualified U.S. Figure Skating skaters in need of financial aid with monetary assistance to pursue their goals both inside and outside the competitive arena. The fund is committed to awarding skating and academic scholarships to those athletes who have demonstrated excellent competitive results and/or academic achievements and who have future potential in national and international competitions.

NEASF is a tax exempt organization whose mission is to help competitive skaters by defraying some of their expenses. The Foundation offers the opportunity of sponsorship to anyone who would like to help with the benefit of being a tax deductible donation.

NEW!!!  June 2011-2012 Membership

Full Club Membership ($230)

All Full Club members are required to pay for 2 hours of ice per week throughout the year.....flexible use of contract hours within the year. Members receive benefits such as no charge for Summer and Holiday Exhibitions, Icycles Show and Banquet.  All members receive Skating Magazine complimentary with USFSA Annual Membership (separate fee of $50 to USFSA). Must volunteer 15 hours.

Junior Club Membership ($100)

All Junior club members pay for 1 hour of ice per week (choose contracted or flexcard). Junior Club members pay only $50 for Icycles show and separately for Summer and Holiday Exhibitions and Banquet.Skating Magazine complimentary with USFSA Annual Membership (separate fee of $50 to USFSA). Restrictions on Junior Club membership are unlimited number of years, but skater must be below Preliminary Moves-in-the-Field test level.Must volunteer 15 hours.

Family Club Membership (additional skater in family $140)

All additional skaters receive same benefits as full club member waiving fees for Icycles Show, Exhibitions, and Banquet.

Associate Membership - $75

Walk-on Coupons available $150 for 10 hours of ice. Must volunteer 5 hours.

 2010-2011 RATES

Full Club Membership ($260)

The most common membership.  Skaters represent PSC at competitions and are members of USFSA. They must contract two hours of ice per week.  Full club members receive Skating Magazine, skate in Icycles show and the Summer and Christmas exhibitions.

Junior Club Membership ($185)

Junior Club is designed for skaters ready to move on from group lessons to more individual instruction.  Skaters can contract one hour of ice per week and have private or semi-private lessons with a coach.  Junior Club skaters are USFSA members, receive Skating Magazine, and can skate in the Icycles Show and PSC exhibitions.

Associate ($75)

Associate members represent another USFSA club.  This membership allows skaters to buy PSC ice at a lower price than non-member walk-on rates.

Synchro ($100)

The synchro membership is for skaters on PSC's synchro team. If the skater wishes to contract ice or participate in Icycles show as a single skater they may join as a Junior or Full Club member.

Family Membership ($260 first skater/$170 additional skaters)

The family membership is the same as Full Club membership, but with a discount for additional skaters.
